Regifting Stories: It’s nice to share
If you have a regifting story, we’d love to hear from you. Web site visitors will vote for their favorite regifting story, so you even have a chance to win a (brand new) gift!

Suggestions:

Regift recipient. Do you know or suspect that you have received a regift? How did that make you feel? Did you like, want or need the gift you received?

Revolving regifter. Do you and your friends have a “revolving” regift that keeps getting passed from person to person? What is the item and how did the tradition start?

Regretful regifter. Have you unsuccessfully tried to regift? How did the situation resolve itself? Will you try again?

Resourceful regifter. Are you a regifting guru? What is your proudest regifting accomplishment?

Before you submit your story, you must first read the fine print in the Official Rules. Here are some of the highlights:

  • The end of 2007 = the end of the contest.
  • Sorry kids, entrants must be 18 years or older.
  • Choose your best story; only one entry per person.
  • If in doubt, leave it out! Stories must be family-friendly.
  • Patience is a virtue. Winners will be announced by February 1, 2008.
  • If your story won the 2006 contest, you’ll have to come up with some new material.
